Do I need an account to try it?
No. Building and previewing is free, no account needed. A free account exports the free templates clean at 720p with no watermark a few times a month. Every other template, 1080p and up, launch packs, Fill with AI, reading a website and AI rewrites use credits from a plan.
What do I need to start?
Just your product link. Filmagic reads the site’s words to write the video. Add your own screenshots or a short screen recording to show the real product, and a logo for the end card. Without screens, the preview uses a sample app.
What happens when I press Make my video?
Filmagic reads what you gave it, names the product, picks a story (a launch, a demo, a social cut and more) and a look. You can change both before it builds the cut, then edit every beat in the studio.
How often are new templates added?
Every week, and some weeks bring more than one. New ones are marked New this week here and in Templates, and they show up for everyone the day they ship. The next drop date is in the templates section above.
How much does a plan cost?
Starter from $12 a month for 150 credits, Pro from $29 for 500 and Studio from $79 for 1,500. Each plan has bigger credit tiers, and yearly billing costs the same as 10 months.
How do credits work?
An export uses 10 credits. A studio voiceover on an export adds 3 and an ElevenLabs voiceover adds 5. An ElevenLabs music track uses 5 and a full launch pack 25. Regenerating with AI, Fill with AI, reading a website and AI story ideas use 2 each, reading your images 1 and an AI rewrite 1. Credits refresh every billing period, up to a month of unused credits rolls over, and any plan can top up 100 credits for $10.
Where are videos rendered?
In your browser, with HyperFrames. Nothing is uploaded to render: keep the tab open while it works and the MP4 saves straight to your device.
What export quality can I choose?
720p and 1080p at 24 or 30 fps on every paid plan. Pro and Studio add 1440p, 4K and 60 fps. You also pick Standard, High or Max quality, with or without sound, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
Can I edit the timeline?
Yes. Drag beats to reorder them, drag an edge to trim, split at the playhead and shift voice lines. Each track has mute, solo and volume, and those carry into the export, and cuts can lock to the music’s beat. Before you export, Check flags small text, words cut off at the edge, overlaps and beats too short to read.
Which voices are included?
Studio voices are included on every paid plan; free exports have music and sound effects but no voiceover. Pro and Studio include ElevenLabs voices (1 credit a line to record) and ElevenLabs music (5 credits a track), all on Filmagic's account, so there are no keys to manage.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Billing. Your plan and credits stay until the end of the period you paid for.
