Filmagic

Terms of Service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Benjamin Stanly, an individual based in India, who runs Filmagic ("Filmagic", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Filmagic you agree to them. If you use Filmagic for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

1. What Filmagic does

Filmagic turns a product website, your images and your text into short launch videos, GIFs and images ("Outputs"). It uses templates, AI models and third-party services to write copy, read images, record voiceovers, make music and render video. Previewing is free. Exporting and some AI features use credits.

2. Your account

3. Plans, credits and payment

Cancellations and refunds are covered in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Your content

"Your Content" is anything you give Filmagic: website URLs, screenshots and captures of your site, logos, images, video, audio, copy and scripts.

5. Outputs

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Filmagic to:

We may remove Outputs, refuse captures, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Third-party services

Filmagic relies on services including Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, HeyGen and Dodo Payments. They have their own terms and occasional outages. We aren't responsible for their failures, but we refund credits automatically when a paid AI voice, music or cloud render request fails on our side.

8. Copyright and takedown

If you believe something made with Filmagic infringes your rights, email benjaminstanly07@gmail.com with your contact details, the work you own, where the infringing material appears and a statement that you have a good-faith belief it's unauthorised. We'll review and may remove it and act against repeat infringers.

9. Changes and availability

We're continually changing Filmagic. We may add, change or remove templates and features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We'll give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes.

10. Disclaimers

Filmagic is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or that Outputs will be accurate, error-free or meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Filmagic is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or USD 50 if that's greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims by others caused by Your Content, your Outputs or your breach of these terms.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Filmagic and close your account at any time by emailing us. We may end or suspend your access for a serious or repeated breach. Sections 4 to 5 (as to licences you've granted for content already processed), 10 to 12 and 14 survive.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers keep any rights to bring claims in their own country that their local law gives them. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved by email.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or in the app if the changes are significant. Continuing to use Filmagic after that means you accept them.
