## Tips for a clean cut

- **Use the frame buttons.** Pause near the cut, then step one frame at a time with the arrows and press Set start or Set end.
- **Keyboard:** focus a handle and use the arrow keys for one frame, or Shift and an arrow for one second.
- **Cut on a pause.** Start just after a click or a word ends, not in the middle of one. A short fade hides a rough cut.

### How do I trim a video online?

Choose your video, drag the left handle to where the clip should start and the right handle to where it should end, then press Export trimmed MP4. Play the clip first to check the cut.

### Does trimming lower the quality?

### Can I remove the sound from a video?

Yes. Set Sound to Remove the sound before you export. The video keeps its full length with a silent picture track only.

### Which browsers does it work in?

A recent Chrome or Edge on a computer works best. Safari 16.4 and newer works too. WebM files take longer, because the browser reads them one frame at a time.
