# Turn a product page into a product ad

> Paste a product page from your Shopify or WooCommerce store and Filmagic makes a product ad from its photos, price and rating, cut to music and ending on Shop now.

Paste the link to one product in your store. Filmagic reads its photos, name, price, rating and key points, builds a short ad around the photos and ends it on Shop now with your store's address. Edit any line, then export for Reels, TikTok and your feed.

## How it works

1. **Paste a product link.** One product's page in your store, not the home page or a collection.
2. **Filmagic reads the product.** It collects the product photos, the name, the price, the star rating and review count, and the key points the page lists.
3. **It builds a product ad.** The photos open the video and fill a gallery, the price gets its own scene, and the last scene says Shop now with your store's address. It starts as the Product Drop template; Shop Promo and Sale Offer use the same page.
4. **Fix anything.** Rewrite a line, swap a photo, change the music or add a scene.
5. **Export for every channel.** 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 for feeds and 16:9 for YouTube and your site, from one edit.

## What Filmagic takes from a product page

| From the product page | Where it ends up in the ad |
| --- | --- |
| Product photos | The opening, the gallery, the price scene and the end card |
| Product name | The titles and the price scene |
| Price | Its own scene, exactly as the page shows it, in the page's currency |
| Star rating and review count | A line in the ad, only when the page shows them |
| Key points and description | The headlines, which you can rewrite |
| Store address | The Shop now ending |

Nothing is made up. When the page shows no price, there is no price scene. When it shows no rating, the ad doesn't mention one. A sold-out product ends on See details instead of Shop now.

## Which stores work

- **Shopify.** Any public product page, with its product photos.
- **WooCommerce and other shops** whose product pages publish standard product data (schema.org Product), which WooCommerce does out of the box.
- **Amazon.** Amazon often blocks automated readers, so some listings can't be read. When that happens, paste the same product's page from your own store, or add its photos yourself.

> **Tip:** clean product photos on a plain background work best. If the page only has one or two photos, add a few more and Filmagic spreads them through the ad.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is this a product video downloader?

No. Filmagic doesn't download videos from a product page. It makes a new ad from the page's photos and words.

### Is it free?

Building and previewing with the sample product is free. Reading a product page uses 2 credits from a plan, and plans start at $12 a month for 150 credits.

### Can I use photos that aren't on the page?

Yes. Add your own photos next to the link and Filmagic uses them in the photo scenes.

### Does it write a voiceover?

Voiceover is available on paid plans in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Hindi and Tamil. Without it, the ad is cut to music with short lines on screen, which works on mute.

### How long is the ad?

You pick 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds. Short ads of 15 to 20 seconds suit Reels and TikTok best.

### My product page couldn't be read. What now?

Some shops block automated readers. Add 3 to 6 product photos and type the product name and a few key points, and Filmagic builds the video from those instead.
